No surprise here.ABC has today announced early pick-ups for the 2009-10 season of dramas Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost, Private Practice, and Ugly Betty, as well as reality series America's Funniest Home Videos, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Supernanny, and Wife Swap.
No mention was given of the fate of such comedies as Samantha Who?, According to Jim, and Scrubs.
ABC will announce their full fall lineup on May 19th.
